ESG reporting requirements around the world

Australia & New Zealand

Since 2023, large businesses and financial institutions in New Zealand must disclose information relating to governance, strategy, metrics and targets, and risk management.

From 2025, this is enforced in Australia.

The regulations apply to material narrative and forward-looking statements, not just financial statements.

United Kingdom

Large businesses and financial institutions must disclose information relating to governance, strategy, metrics and targets, and risk management.

This includes evidence-backed narrative and forward-looking statements, not just financial statements.

Europe & United States

The EU will eventually require all entities to report on climate-related disclosures, in a phased approach that will be fully rolled out by 2028.

In the US, the SEC has indicated it will require domestic and foreign registrants to include climate-related disclosures in their annual reports, beginning in the 2025 fiscal year.

It just works. You won’t spend more time learning it than using it. You won’t have a huge implementation journey. It just arrives out of the box and simplifies your life.

Atticus provides a single workspace for all supporting evidence, with powerful search and linking features. This saves time looking through folders and collaborating with other team members.

Atticus can be used to fact-check or verify any type of statement in a document. This includes forward-looking and narrative statements, numbers and figures.

Atticus makes it easier to identify material statements and then link those statements to supporting evidence, so that organisations have confidence they can stand behind their words.

The project manager can invite and assign statements to anyone in the organisation. Subject matter experts can be onboarded in a few clicks.
