Our product experts were joined by 100+ professionals from law firms, listed companies, and funds in ANZ and the UK, for our 2024 mid-year product showcase.

In the live event, we demonstrated several recent changes that will make the verification process for the upcoming annual reporting season more seamless and efficient when under tight time constraints.

Read on for a recap of the recent features, including three major feature updates—or watch the recording for the ANZ livestream or the UK livestream now

NEW FEATURES

Verify multiple documents in your reporting suite, at the same time

Manage verification of multiple documents more efficiently.

With the new capability to add multiple documents into a single workspace, Atticus users can now seamlessly work across the entire suite of documents in one place, at the same time.

The burden of repeated content is now managed with ease, as your verification team can collaborate on any statement and link evidence without the requirement to navigate across multiple locations.

Search for specific lines of evidence across any document

Quickly search across all supporting evidence for any statement.

We drastically improved our search functionality, so that you can more easily locate specific content within all of the supporting documents in your workspace.

By uploading all of your supporting documents to Atticus, you can search once, easily locate any text or figure within any number of your supporting evidence documents, and link it with ease.

See suggested potential evidence for any statement

Let Atticus recommend suggested links to evidence with machine learning.

We were thrilled to finally share a look at Evidence Finder, which assists users to select the most optimal piece of evidence for any statement.

This LLM-powered feature will be particularly useful for the circumstances in which you do not know the specific phrasing or text within a supporting document.

Simply highlight any statement, and Atticus will surface suggestions within any supporting document based on the context of the statement. This means you can select the most optimal piece of evidence for your annotation, even from pieces of supporting evidence that you didn’t know existed.

Evidence finder is currently available to customers on our early access program and we’re delighted that those who have been trialing it have found early success. We’re excited to continue exploring the next evolution of this feature.

ADDITIONAL ENHANCEMENTS

See the history of any annotation

Make more informed decisions about sign-off and approval.

Now, when anyone looks at any annotation on a statement, you can quickly see a log of all the changes made to the statement during your verification.

This enhancement allows anyone to quickly identify why a statement might be worded in a certain way, or why it contains the data points that it does. Thanks to new version timestamps, it also ensures that you can trust you are working off the latest version.

Add context to any link

Ensure the reason you’ve applied evidence to any specific annotation is clear to those reading it.

Our link context enhancement allows users to add textual context directly to your supporting document link, such as calculations or a clarification of which piece of evidence relates to which part of a statement. This means that anyone in the verification process can explain why that evidence is relevant to your annotation, especially if it’s not exactly clear in the supporting document.

It also keeps your notes tidy—free for other verification comments—and provides a direct correlation between your evidence link and your note. Plus, any context that you add to a link is included in the export report to ensure you have comprehensive reporting of your verification work for auditing purposes.

Receive email reminders on your outstanding tasks

Prevent delays in the verification process by keeping up-to-date with new tasks

Last but not least, Atticus can now notify you of  any new or outstanding tasks on your desired frequency. Simply tap the email reminder button to select the frequency at which you’d like to be notified of new tasks (daily or weekly) and receive an email digest of all your assigned tasks.

For administrators, this means less overhead involved in the verification process as you no longer have to send reminders to your team—Atticus will take care of this for you.
